We are headquartered in Singapore with developments in Australia, China, the United Kingdom, and Europe, culminating in a comprehensive global portfolio of iconic residences and workspaces of the future.

In Singapore, Ho Bee is widely recognised as the pioneer developer of luxury homes in the exclusive residential enclave of Sentosa Cove. Other notable developments include The Metropolis at one-north, the largest Grade A office development outside the Central Business District to-date, and Elementum, a cutting-edge biomedical sciences development completed in 2023. In London, we have a portfolio of eight investment properties, including the landmark skyscraper, The Scalpel.

OUR HISTORY & MILESTONES

2022

Ho Bee acquires The Scalpel in London for £718 million, marking a total investment of £2 billion in London to date.

2020

The company ventures into a new asset class of biomedical sciences. Awarded a site next to its Metropolis headquarters, a groundbreaking biomedical sciences development— Elementum—will be completed end of 2023. In the same year, the Queensland office in Australia is set up.

2018

Ho Bee makes a £650 million acquisition of Ropemaker Place in London.

2014

The Metropolis is officially opened by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in November 2014 and inaugurated as Ho Bee’s global headquarters.

2012

Ho Bee ventures into Australia with its first residential development in the iconic Surfers Paradise at Gold Coast.

2011

The company embarks on The Metropolis, a 1.2 million sq ft office development at one-north. The development is the single biggest Grade A office development in Singapore outside the Central Business District.

2010

Recognised for its excellent track record and many outstanding achievements, Ho Bee wins a placing in Forbes Asia’s “Best Under a Billion” 2010 list, a ranking of 200 high-performing companies in the Asia Pacific with a value of less than $1 billion.

2003

Ho Bee becomes the pioneer developer in Sentosa Cove with the development of The Berth by the Cove, eventually becoming the biggest developer in the area with a total of eight high-end condominiums, terrace houses and luxurious villas.

2002

Acting to seize opportunities emerging from the phenomenal growth in the China market, the company makes its first investments in the key city of Shanghai.

1999

Ho Bee Land Limited is listed on the mainboard of the Singapore Exchange, marking the beginning of a new phase in its history.

1996

The company makes a strategic move to grow its business overseas with its first foray into London.

1989

Ho Bee begins work on its first residential property development, Maison Royale. This is the first in an ambitious portfolio that will come to include many iconic buildings and landmarks over the years.

1987

Ho Bee is founded with the vision of becoming a prominent real estate developer.
